Water Softener and Ion Exchange Systems
We make a line of ion exchange water treatment systems. We use cation known as negatively charged ion and anion known as a positively charged ion exchange resins of water treatment applications. Electrically charged molecules are known as Ions. They are formed as pollutants, which dissolve in water. Some water like natural water has equity of positive and negative ions, which determines the TDS and conductivity of the water. The better presence of ions results in higher conductivity and TDS.
The Ion exchange water treatment system works by removing material from the water by utilizing the water processes such as water softening, and water deionization. The following systems work by the interchange of specific ions for other ions. When we talk about water softeners, magnesium, and calcium ions, they were replaced by sodium ions. While for water deionization systems. Cations were exchanged for hydrogen ions, while the anions were exchanged for hydroxyl ions.
